Art Auction


Online art auction to help relief efforts in Japan organized by Meg Hunt and friends in Portland, OR. All donated items will be auctioned on EBAY with proceeds going to AmeriCares and tagged for Japan relief. (AmeriCares, a nonpartisan and nondenominational organization, uses 99% of its revenue on its charitable programs and is rated four stars on CharityNavigator.org)

Every Little Bird Helps



Inspired by the story of 1000 paper cranes, artist, Makiko Hastings, is making 1000 ceramic birds to sell for Japan Relief. This is an ongoing project to support the people she loves in her home nation of Japan.

What you can do?
Buy a bird: Only £3.50 each! There will be an additional fee for P&P

The Poster Cause Project



75% of proceeds from Japan Quake Relief Posters will be donated to Doctors Without Boarders.

What can you do?

Quilts for Quake Survivors in Japan



Two fabric artists, Daniela and Susan, teamed up to form Quilts for Quake Surviors. Together they are hosting workshops in Portland, OR and other places to create a collection of community-made handmade log cabin quilts leading up to a show + live auction event in Portland on May 11th.
All proceeds (100%) will be donated to a charitable organization.

What you can do?
1. Donate fabric cut to 2″ wide fabric strips or assemble some of those strips in simple log cabin quilt squares.
2. Bid on quilts - May 11th
3. Donate your own quilts
4. Spread the word to other quilters!
